DJI Goodwood Festival of Speed film is released

Goodwood Festival of Speed is the ultimate festival if you're into cars so getting the opportunity to film it, with drones and on behalf of the worlds biggest drone manufacturer, DJI, as part of their UK Pilot Team was a crazy opportunity that we had to take.

Through the week, we filmed live for the big screens throughout Goodwood which on some days were also live on Sky Sports F1.

Today saw the release of the final film, filmed by Gee who is one of our camera operators but also heads up It's fair to say we're all pretty stoked on it's release! Check it out below!

Working with Eastwood media was also great for us with 95% of the planning done by Chris. It wouldn't have been possible without a massive effort from him. The sites we had for filming were limited but at an event with tens of thousands of spectators we did really well to have the space that we did with plenty of space to separate us from the spectators although we did come rather close to a couple of helicopters! It was all planned out though don't worry!

Below Jamie from Eastwood Media controls the DJI Inspire delicately around the massively impressive Jaguar Land Rover Stand.

Above, I (Will) prep and fly the Inspire around the BMW 'M Avenue' from the dewey fresh cut grass in the morning sunrise.

Here's the behind the scenes pics as we prepare to chase a rally car tearing through and out of the woods.

That's pretty much my piece said about Goodwood, overall an awesome event and I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone!

Massive thanks to the below for whom without, it wouldn't have been possible:

Peace out!
